Mike Wilson began his locksmith career back in 1986. After a stint in the US Army working on helicopters and serving as a DustOff (medivac) crewchief, Mike returned to civilian life and attended Houston Community College. College life didn't quit fit his personality at the time so he sought  the council and help of a friend of his who was a locksmith. Having spent time with this gentleman at his shop, Mike knew that this type of work would suit him and be a rewarding career choice. Mike's first job was as a shop locksmith trainee. This time afforded him the opportunity to learn and practice the craft under the supervision of experienced locksmiths. Mike's natural aptitude and curiosity quickly propelled him to the position of a full service technician. His career took him to Atlanta, Georgia where he owned and operated A-Abbot Safe & Lock and he also acquired Master Locksmith Company from Harry  Detleffs. By 1995 Harry was ready to retire after over 50 years of service. Having  seen Mike's professional ability and craftsmanship, he felt certain that Mike would protect and foster the  reputation of Master Locksmith Company. Mike ran both companies until relocating back to his home town of Houston, Texas in 2010. He left A-Abbot Safe & Lock operating in Atlanta and his former wife Linda still owns and operates this company. Mike has focused his energy operating Master Locksmith Company and providing Houston locksmith customers the benefit of his vast locksmith  experience and skill. From repairing or installing complicated commercial exit hardware to installing high security locks on homes and businesses all over Houston, Mike has the experience and skill to make any job look great and he makes it look easy  while doing it!
