#HoustonLocksmith , Master Locksmith Company, was recently called by a Houston Locksmith client who needed her #BaldwinLock repaired. Upon arriving #MasterLocksmithCompanies Mike Wilson found a Baldwin lock which the customers husband had ordered and could not install. Well, it would not install because it was the wrong size. Here is a view of the door. The actual lock is a box that slips into the door edge.
Here are the two lock bodies side by side in my van. The lock on the left is the smaller old lock while the right one is the larger new lock. The new lock would not fit into the door with the old trim without significant modifications which would not be covered by the lock trim so the only recourse was to reorder another lock or rebuild the old one. The customer was pressed for time so #MasterLocksmith decided to rebuild the old lock using parts from the new one. Please do not try this at home!! Mike Wilson has years of experience with these locks and knows how to work on them. It would not be hard to turn this into a pile of useless parts! Using years of experience, Mike was able to disassembe both locks and choose which parts were needed to make the old lock function again. It had broken because "someone" cough, cough, had tried to repair it and had actually broken it more than it was. Oh well, stuff happens.
Ball bearings, springs, sharp stuff...There are alot of pieces in there!
All's well that ends well. Another happy customer. #MasterLocksmithCompany always completes the mission with customer satisfaction! If you need a #locksmithInHouston , call the best. Call Master Locksmith Company.
